We may not support some projects due to their conflict with biblical convictions. Other projects we may not support because we cannot meet the author’s timeline or project needs. 1. How much do you charge for publishing services?
   • Publishing costs through Bane Christian Publishing depends greatly on a variety of factors. The stage of writing (are you in the development stage, or do you merely require proof editing?), the length or word count of the project, the print book size and paper quality, the cover design, the interior design, the final format (print or electronic or both), the level of marketing and promotion—all of these can play a key role in the cost of the project. With that said, and to give a ballpark idea of the cost, most projects at Bane Christian Publishing can run from $3,500-$7,500. 
2. What are your payment plans?
   • Payments are permitted in installments and depend on the book publishing schedule. Most projects are broken into two or three installments.
3. Can I submit my manuscript to you?
   • We ask that you do not send any manuscripts to us unless there has been an agreement to support or review your project. This protects the author and Bane Christian Publishing.
4. What other books have you published?
   • We are a recently established company, and the current published works are cited on the Featured publication section of our website.
5. Should I use Bane Christian Publishing or self-publish?
   • This really depends on you, your level of understanding about the publishing process, and your budget. As a startup company, we are not against self-publishing and believe it can be a great tool to ensure Christian authors can share uplifting and encouraging messages on a limited budget. At the same time, sometimes self-published works look like they’re self-published, and it can be quite the headache for the uninitiated to learn the steps to properly self-publish. Using a publisher will almost always cost more, but there’s the added benefit of having a polished, professional work in the marketplace with a stamp of excellence from a proven publisher.
6. What distributors and book stores do you work with?
   • As a new company, we don’t have established contracts with any book stores. This is of little concern because most US Consumers prefer to purchase books—even print books—online (https://business.yougov.com/content/47265-2022-vs-2023-do-consumers-prefer-buying-clothes-books-offline-more-today-than-they-did-a-year-ago). We’ll be able to support your project being on Amazon and other web-based book retailers in the US. NOTE: Working through our print retailers create the option for brick-and-mortar book stores to carry your book on their shelves; it doesn’t guarantee it.
7. Do I need to be Christian or produce a Christian work to use your services?
   • While Bane Christian Publishing is in no position to declare or deny an individual’s relationship to God, we are an unapologetically Christian company, and we do seek to support projects that support Christ’s kingdom advances. We do, however, consider projects from Christians who produce non-Christian works, provided those works are (1) wholesome, and (2) don’t move against orthodox Christian goals. All works published by Bane Christian Publishing must conform to our core Christian beliefs, and we reserve the right to refuse any project that is found to contradict those beliefs.
